SCI 295BR: Introduction to STEM Research in Bio-Resources Development and Management

STEM research class with the student engaged in independent research in topic areas related to bio-resources development and management. May be repeated up to 6 credits. (3 hours cooperative education/work (COOP) experience per week per credit)

Course Outcomes
  • Identify a research question and develop a hypothesis regarding a topic in bio-resources development and management.
  • Use research and technology skills to access relevant information from multiple sources.
  • Design and implement a plan to test the hypothesis
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data generated by the selected research project.
  • Communicate results, analyses, and conclusions in written and/or oral form.
